Over the years, Charitable Gambling has provided a source of funds for many organizations in the community. Raising money from selling pull tabs, tip boards and paddle tickets since 1997 at the Mapleton Municipal Liquor Store. These funds have allowed the Mapleton Area Chamber of Commerce to use local dollars for local organizations, by putting the money back into the community.
To date, Charitable Gambling Contributions from the Mapleton Area Chamber of Commerce to local organizations has totaled over 413K. These organizations make up all areas of our community including Maple River Dollars for Scholars, Mapleton Boy and Girl Scouts, The Well Youth Center, Youth activities, Loaves and Fishes, Amercian Red Cross, American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, Mapleton Fire Department and MANY more organizations that our members and community are involved in.
